Bio:
Dr. Ben-David is a senior lecturer in the department of communication disorders at Hadassah Academic College. Her PhD dissertation focused on “Language Acquisition in Light of Phonological Theory: Common and Unique Processes among Different Children and in Various Languages”. Dr. Ben-David is also a certified and experienced speech and language pathologist and integrates between the clinical and the research fields. Her primary research interest is in developmental and clinical phonology. She wrote a normative study on the phonological acquisition by Hebrew-speaking children, published a phonological and articulation test for Hebrew-speaking children and developed an intervention method for children with phonological disorders. Recently she expanded her research to the acquisition of Arabic phonology.
