About IALP

IALP is the International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders.

It is a non-profit worldwide organization of professionals and scientists in communication, voice, speech language pathology, audiology and swallowing.

The IALP is non-political and non-governmental and was founded in 1924 by Emil Froeschels to foster collaboration of professionals interested in speech and voice disorder throughout the world.
